Editorial methodology

1. Read primary sources

We check the Actor listing, README, input schema, pricing page and the owner profile. Public ratings, review counts and user figures are dated because they change.

2. Define a useful problem

Every guide starts with a concrete outcome, such as exporting public Instagram followers or collecting businesses in a location. Features are included only when they help that outcome.

3. Run a small test when practical

We begin with a low result limit. We record the input, delivered item count, runtime and Actor charge, then inspect duplicates and key field coverage. A test result is never presented as a universal guarantee.

4. Separate price from platform plan

Pay-per-result Actor charges and Apify platform credits are shown separately. Calculations are estimates and link back to current official pricing.

5. State limitations

We identify maintenance status, missing reviews, temporary URLs, access constraints and privacy considerations. Readers should validate terms, permissions and data quality for their own use case.
